Young is one of the best offensive guards in the NBA. He’s also one of the worst defensive players in the league. 

To make him work, a team needs a specific roster around him. A deep reserve or quality defensive wings is a must. A strong defensive big man who can protect the paint would help also. 

In other words, the Raptors could be a perfect fit – provided that they retain Jakob Poeltl in free agency, of course.

If they do, pairing Young with Pascal Siakam and Scottie Barnes ought to make up for Young’s deficiencies.
