Why The New York Knicks Do The Deal 

It seems likely that the Knicks know they’re a 3-and-D away from fringe title contention. 

After all, they went and got one at the trade deadline. Josh Hart was a sensible addition for this team. He shouldn’t stop them from acquiring Wiggins. 

The two could easily co-exist. In fact, they’re both highly versatile players who could can lineup at the 2. 3, or 4. There’s no reason the Knicks can’t roster them both. 

Moreover, Wiggins is simply better. In fact, he’s emerged as one of the best 3-and-D wings in the NBA.
