Some facts in the NBA feel similarly unavoidable. For example, the Washington Wizards will not trade Bradley Beal.
No matter how many analysts suggest that they might, they refuse to do so.
They say two things are reliable in life – death and taxes. It may be depressing, but it’s true. Both of those things are coming. Like it or not, they can’t be avoided.
Similarly, the Miami Heat refuses to tank. This club fields a competitive group every season – it’s only a question of how competitive they can be. This year, they likely wish they were a little better.
With Beal’s annual cryptic comments about his Wizards future, at some point, there will surely be a point when he becomes available. When he does, the Heat are a logical team to pursue.
Could they improve their standing by acquiring Beal from the Wizards this summer?
