In the past, the Lakers have been dominant in the NBA. In any era of NBA history that you choose, look back on it, and there’s a decent chance the Lakers were the best team in that era. 

In contrast, that is not the case with the Clippers. There is no doubt that this team was a laughingstock throughout the 1990s.

The Clippers were one of the worst teams in the National Basketball Association during most of that decade. In recent times, the tables have turned – to some extent, at least.
