The NBA trade deadline has come and gone. In some ways, it’ll be defined by what didn’t happen as much as it’s defined by what did.
Sure, there were fireworks. The Kevin Durant trade was one of the most significant in NBA history. At the same time, there were plenty of rumors that went unfulfilled.
For example, the Toronto Raptors were supposed to trade O.G. Anunoby. It was widely expected to happen. Yet, the deadline has passed, and Anunoby is still in Canada.
On the other hand, the Indiana Pacers were supposed to trade everyone. Instead, they had a quiet deadline.
Could they land Anunoby this summer?
