Of course, there was a time in NBA history when this trade would have looked much different.
Obviously, we’re referring to Derrick Rose’s prime. When he was at his peak, Allen and Ingles would have had to come with five first-round picks in order to fetch him in a trade.
Injuries almost cut his career entirely short. Fortunately for NBA fans, Rose persevered. He may not have returned to his MVP level, but he’s been a valuable rotation guard in the NBA for several years.
This year, he appeared to be a little less valued. With the emergence of Jalen Brunson on the Knicks, Rose has taken a backseat.
