Why The Memphis Grizzlies Do The Deal 

Well, of course, the Grizzlies wouldn’t be doing this deal to facilitate Morant’s development. They’d be doing it to make a push for the NBA championship. 

After all, they’re already real contenders. Granted, this deal has them losing some solid contributors. That’s fine – they’re landing Kevin Durant. 

What would their starting lineup look like? It’s hard to say. The Grizzlies could go with a super-sized group like Steven Adams, Jaren Jackson Jr., Durant, Dillon Brooks, and Morant.

Alternatively, they could use a more modernized look with a Jackson Jr., Durant, and Brooks frontcourt.

Either way, they ought to be dominant. There’s little else to say here – the Grizzlies are assembling perhaps the best duo in the NBA with this deal.
