You can also make the case for Nikola Jokic or Luka Doncic. Even LeBron James and Kevin Durant still have cases to be made. 

Let’s ask an easier question. Who’s the best player in the NBA who could get traded before the deadline? Clearly, the answer is Kevin Durant. 

Not that Durant has issued a trade request – this time. Still, his request over the summer still looms over Brooklyn.

With Kyrie Irving departing for the Mavericks, we can only continue to speculate. 

Could Durant find himself on the Memphis Grizzlies?
