Why The Philadelphia 76ers Do The Deal
If you’re an astute reader, you know we were talking about Philly when describing a team with a surplus of playmaking.
James Harden is one of the best playmakers in the NBA. Ditto for Joel Embiid – at least, so far as shot creation counts as playmaking. Even Tyrese Maxey is capable of drawing a double team.
The Sixers need players who can shoot around their trio of stars. That’s really the only justification of this deal. Reddish may be an inconsistent shooter, but he can shoot.
Who knows? He may even thrive in Philadelphia. It certainly has the potential to be the best environment he’s had in the NBA so far.
