In essence, the Hawks are moving Collins for Jaxson Hayes here.
Although, Graham would be a solid addition here. He’s a strong playmaker who can space the floor a little too. He’ll compete for the primary backup point guard spot here.
Still, Hayes is the focal point of the return. Some will question the wisdom of that decision. The Hawks already have two outstanding non-shooting bigs in Clint Capela and Onyeka Onkongwu, and Hayes is due for a rookie extension this summer.
Well, this deal has the Hawks kicking the can. They’d extend Hayes, and shop all three of those bigs for the best return they can get this summer.
