Why The Charlotte Hornets Do The Deal 

The Hornets entered last summer with a clear need for a big man. 

They got one. The team selected Mark Williams with the 15th overall pick in the draft. So far, he’s looked like a solid choice in the time he’s been afforded. 

He also hasn’t done enough for the Hornets to avoid taking on another big man. If both players develop into starting-caliber centers, that will be a good problem for the Hornets to have. 

Meanwhile, Wiseman probably has more potential due to his superior athletic tools.
