Why The Phoenix Suns Do The Deal 

It’s hard to say with any confidence what the Suns should do this season. 

We will say this: giving up on a recent Finalist is never palatable. Surely, this team’s fanbase hasn’t given up on their hopes and dreams yet. Perhaps the team shouldn’t either. 

If they feel the same, Trent Jr. could be a perfect upgrade. For starters, he’s a solid shot creator who can carry the second unit when Paul and Devin Booker are sitting. 

He’s also a stout enough defender to man the 3 in three guard lineups. With their solidified backcourt, Trent Jr. would likely be a heavy minute reserve for now.
