The Knicks may not be contenders. They’re still a more respectable outfit than the Rockets this season.
At 22-18, at least they have a winning record. These Knicks are decent. Flipping Fournier for Gordon will make them a little better.
After all, Gordon is a better floor spacer, defender, and shot-creator. He won’t launch the Knicks into contention, but he doesn’t need to, either.
We all know these Knicks are hoping to eventually trade for a star. In today’s NBA, they need to be a desirable market in order to attract a star trade candidate.
