Why The Philadelphia 76ers Do The Deal 

The Sixers may need this depth more than they need Harris. 

For starters, they don’t have a decent backup option for Joel Embiid. Hartenstein fits the bill. He’s a smart passer and a solid inside scorer and defender. He’d be the perfect big for this team’s second unit. 

Meanwhile, the Sixers could use some better guard depth as well. After all, James Harden and Tyrese Maxey have both suffered injuries this season.

Having Rose on deck would make it a less significant problem if they did it again.
