In some ways, these teams could not have taken more opposite directions in recent years.
The Thunder have been busy preparing for the future. In fact, they’ve tucked away the largest collection of draft capital we’ve seen in the history of the NBA.
By contrast, the Bulls have been in the here and now. They haven’t valued draft capital. The Bulls have endeavored to put the best group of veterans they could together.
There’s nothing wrong with that in a vacuum. Unfortunately, it simply does not appear that this group of veterans is suited to win games together.
