Why The Los Angeles Lakers Do The Deal 

One thing is certain – the Lakers need shooting. 

Right now, they’re sorely lacking in that department. For a team that’s built around two ball-dominant playmakers, that’s a concern. LeBron James and Russell Westbrook could use more targets around the perimeter. 

Bertans will be helpful in that regard. Granted, he’s a defensive liability,, but hopefully, a return from a currently injured Anthony Davis would be able to cover his limitations on that end. 

Moreover, neither Beverley nor Nunn have been especially good for the Lakers this season.
