New York Knicks Receive: G Kendrick Nunn
Los Angeles Lakers Receive: G/F Cam Reddish
It still feels wrong to write about Reddish this way. He was supposed to be something.
In high school, he was one of the top basketball prospects in the world. Unfortunately, everything has gone downhill for him since then.
Some would argue that he’s only found himself in bad situations. There may be some credence in that position. At Duke, Reddish was playing behind Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett. It was hard for him to shine with his teammates garnering so much attention.
As an Atlanta Hawk, Reddish was stuck in Trae Young’s heliocentric offense. That’s not necessarily a brand of basketball that works for everyone.
