Stop us if you’ve heard this before: the Los Angeles Lakers may be in trouble. It’s become a common trend and won’t relent ahead of the NBA trade deadline.

For the past several years, trouble has been the norm for the purple-and-gold. For one reason or another, it feels like the Lakers always have some type of adversity to weather. 

One consistent source of that adversity has been Anthony Davis’ health. You hate to see it, but you can’t deny it – Davis, for all of his talents, has trouble staying on the floor. 

Recently, the Lakers lost Davis again. He’s expected to be recovering from injury for at least a month. The Lakers could do some real damage to their playoff hopes in that timeline.

Somehow, they need to stay afloat while Davis is absent.
