Why The Philadelphia 76ers Do The Deal 

Depending on their current circumstances, LeVert would be either a necessity or a luxury for the Sixers. 

After all, Harden and Embiid may be stars, but they’re both prone to injury. Tyrese Maxey is also approaching stardom – and sidelined by injury for the foreseeable future. 

Granted, role players like De’Anthony Melton and Shake Milton have stepped up in their absence. Still, the Sixers could use another guy who can get a bucket when their stars need rest. 

When they’re healthy, they could still use someone to carry the second unit’s offense. That would be LeVert’s role on a fully available Sixers squad.
