3-Team Trade Involving Bucks, Rockets & Suns

Phoenix Suns Receive: G/F Eric Gordon, F KJ Martin
Milwaukee Bucks Receive: F Jae Crowder
Houston Rockets Receive: G/F Grayson Allen, G/F Landy Shamet, 2023 Fist-Round Pick (PHO)

By all accounts, this deal almost already went down. There’s no reason to believe it still won’t.

After all, it benefits all sides. The Phoenix Suns may be the most obvious winners here. Crowder isn’t active anyway, so they’re getting something for nothing. Gordon could be the perfect guard to lead the second unit, and Matin is a nice wing to add to this rotation.

In fact, the Houston Rockets may be apprehensive about moving him. For this return, they shouldn’t be. This team already owns Milwaukee’s first-rounder in the upcoming draft.

If they added Phoenix’s, they might have the flexibility to move up if they particularly liked a target.

As for the Milwaukee Bucks – they should be getting the best player in this deal. Sure, Crowder hasn’t played this year, but the last time we saw him, he was one of the best 3-and-D wings in the entire NBA. His brand of basketball ought to be one that he hasn’t aged out of yet.

Adding him to an already stout Bucks defense could make them invincible.
