Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers spent so much of this season underperforming that they’ve been in trade rumors for much of it. 

Lately, that’s changing. It appears as though the Lakers have managed to figure out how to work around the spacing limitations of their LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook trio. That doesn’t mean they couldn’t be better if they didn’t have to. 

In Bradley Beal, they’d be adding a player whose ability to space the floor would be a perfect complement to James and Davis. This deal ought to vault the Los Angeles Lakers into the ranks of serious title contention. 

The Washington Wizards ought to take it too. It’s time for them to trade Beal, right? At 11-14, this team is as mediocre as they usually are.
