Chicago Bulls Receive: G/F Buddy Hield, G T.J. McConnell, 2023 First-Round Pick (IND), 2024 First-Round Pick (IND)
Indiana Pacers Receive: G/F DeMar DeRozan
We really wanted to include Myles Turner in this deal.
For starters, the Pacers’ big man has been in trade rumors for what feels like most of his career. Given that he’s in a contract year, it could make sense for Indiana to get some value for him while they can.
Furthermore, the Bulls could really use him. They don’t have a rim-protecting big like him at the moment – and they’re suffering for it. Should we go back, fix the trade, and delete this whole section?
No. Here’s the deal: if the Pacers make a move with the 2022-23 playoffs in mind, they need to keep Turner. He’s been too essential to their success this season to move if they intend on winning games.

Even if they’re acquiring a player like DeRozan, moving Turner should be a non-starter.
Should the Bulls accept this offer anyway?
