This is a risky proposition for the Brooklyn Nets. 

Myles Turner is not guaranteed to fix all that ails them. Moreover, if they don’t get their act together, it wouldn’t surprise anybody if Kevin Durant made another trade request. If they’re staring down a potential rebuild, should they be sending out first-round picks? 

Well, that depends. Do they want to rebuild? If not, they’ll have to take risks. Acquiring Turner could be the move that gets this team to meet expectations. 

More than anything, this is about complimenting Ben Simmons. The Nets don’t have the stretch big man that they’d need in order to do so. Turner is exactly that.
