Some events are seismic, same in the NBA. They’re the type of events that make people say “this changes everything”. 

The dissolution of the Soviet Union. The invention of the printing press. The first slicing of a loaf of bread. These are events that changed the world. 

No event in the National Basketball Association could have such significance. On the other hand, for diehard fans of teams, some events can feel just as important. 

Unfortunately, that event can sometimes be an injury. The Phoenix Suns are feeling the significance of such an event right now. With Cameron Johnson expected to miss most of the season, everything has changed for this organization. 

Prior to Johnson’s injury, the Suns had a surplus of 3-and-D wings. In fact, they were even expected to trade Jae Crowder to bolster their guard depth.
