Some say that it’s defined as trying the same thing and expecting different results. Perhaps so. In that case, this article meets that definition. 

After all, this is far from the first article suggesting the Lakers trade Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz. We’ve written it before, and other outlets have to. Surely, this must be insane. 

In our defense, the Lakers have been acting pretty crazy too. They keep running out lineups featuring Russell Westbrook and alongside LeBron James, and expecting a different result than the one they’ve been getting.

That result has been a failure. For every moment that the Lakers have Westbrook on the roster, NBA writers will be suggesting that they trade him. Call it a cycle of insanity.
