Why The Los Angeles Lakers Do The Deal 

If Draymond Green is available, the Lakers must pounce on the opportunity. Adding him to this group could be a tremendous difference-maker. 

Sure, people are low on Green at the moment. The footage of the incident with Jordan Poole looks bad. At the same time, we shouldn’t let it cloud our judgment. We know who Draymond Green is. 

To be specific, he’s the best defender of his generation. Imagine a front court of Green, James, and Anthony Davis. If Davis can return to his pre-injury form, it should be the best in the NBA.

That’s before you consider that they’ll have Patrick Beverley at the point of attack. Scoring on the Lakers could be impossible in 2022-23 following this deal.
