Meanwhile, the Clippers can still run their swarming small ball lines featuring Covington or Batum at the 5. There is some risk here – following this deal, the Clippers wouldn’t have a traditional rim protector on their roster.

Still, the offensive ceiling of this group with Vucevic, paired with their ability to offset his defensive deficiencies, should make it a worthwhile trade-off.
