Phoenix Suns Receive: F Cedi Osman, F Lamar Stevens, 2023 Second-Round Pick (GSW)
Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: F Jae Crowder

The Cleveland Cavaliers went all-in on competing for a championship by trading for NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell. With other key players, including Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen, the key now is to bolster the supporting cast.

While there is plenty of intrigue and high expectations for what Isaac Okoro can develop into being at the NBA level, immediate aspirations for title contention can force an organization to be realistic.

Okoro is not a high-level shooter, and from a mechanics standpoint, it appears far more unlikely than it is likely for him to grow into becoming one. He shot 35.0 percent from deep in 2021-22, but did so while taking just 2.3 attempts per game.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will need a wing that can shoot a higher volume of 3s and convert at a better clip while doing so. Crowder is far more capable in that regard than Okoro.

The Phoenix Suns could benefit from adding Cedi Osman, considering he’s a more capable off-the-dribble threat than Crowder. He is just a 34.9 percent 3-point shooter in his career, but again, he’s got more to his game than just that.
