3 Ideal Trade Suitors For Suns’ Jae Crowder Amid Rumors

The Phoenix Suns ran through the 2021-22 NBA regular season with the best record, going 64-18. No team was very close to them, as the second-best record belonged to the Memphis Grizzlies and they won eight fewer games, going 56-26.

Unfortunately for the Suns, that success did not translate to the postseason. After making a run to the NBA Finals in 2021, Phoenix was knocked out in the second round of the 2022 NBA Postseason by the Dallas Mavericks.

It was an embarrassing loss in Game 7 on their home floor, as Dallas won 123-90, sending the defending Western Conference champions home early. That led to the franchise looking to make a splash this offseason as they pursued Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets.

While no trade was consummated with the Nets, Phoenix should still be looking to make a deal. They are bringing back the same rotation as last season, minus JaVale McGee, who signed a free agent deal with the Mavericks.

Remaining idle while other teams in the conference improved is not an ideal recipe for success. If they want to shake things up a little bit, one player that could be on the move is Jae Crowder. It was recently reported that Crowder is certainly available in a trade.

It makes sense as the Suns could be looking to expand the role of Cam Johnson to see if he can handle it before signing him to an extension.

Where could Crowder end up in a trade? Here are three ideal trade suitors for the veteran forward.
