New York Knicks Receive: F OG Anunoby

Of course, this isn’t the New York Knicks package you’re expecting to see. Most observers assume that they’ll be sending a large portion of their stockpile of draft reserve to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Donovan Mitchell.

For that matter, they very well might. At the same time, the Knicks are not beholden to anything. Furthermore, Mitchell is likely to be quite expensive – after landing him, the Knicks will go from having one of the league’s best collections of draft capital to a below-average one.

Perhaps the Knicks should entertain some lower-cost options. After all, they have so much draft capital that they’ll hardly notice the loss of one low-value first-rounder.

Meanwhile, the Raptors may not be interested in buying it – at least, not at the cost of OG Anunoby. At the same time, rumors have suggested that the 3-and-D wing is growing tired of his minimal role in Toronto.

If they do, is this the right package to pry him from their hands?
