Myles Turner may not be Kevin Durant, but he’s still one of the hottest names on the NBA’s trade market.

Few teams could use his services more than the Chicago Bulls. In 2021-22, they started Nikola Vucevic at the center spot. Vucevic is a talented player who’s made more than one All-Star team, but he may not have been what the Bulls needed at the position.

After all, Vooch is limited on defense. For a team featuring Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, that’s a problem. By contast, the Bulls had no trouble generating offense – in fact, they scarcely found room to feature Vucevic’s low-block scoring abilities.

By contrast, Myles Turner is one of the NBA’s best rim protectors. Furthermore, his floor-spacing ability will allow him to make the same contributon Vooch did on the offensive end for the Bulls.
