Steve Nash
There were some comments said in the last few weeks that will need to be addressed between Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets. One of those people that a relationship needs to be repaired with is head coach Steve Nash.
Nash was one of the people that Durant wanted to be fired when he gave the franchise an ultimatum at a previous meeting. That was an odd request, as Nash is the head coach that Durant and Kyrie Irving helped hand pick as a replacement for Kenny Atkinson. Obviously, things have changed since then and what the team needs from the head coaching position could be different now as well.
Knowing that Durant does not feel highly about Nash, the head coach is certainly one of the losers in this development. While the Nets would not fire him and general manager, Sean Marks, as part of him coming back, Nash is likely on a scorching hot seat.
It is hard to imagine Nash having a very long leash for the upcoming season. The first sign of any struggles or hiccups that Brooklyn experiences could lead to him being fired.

His job security would have been stronger with Durant traded, but as long as he is on the roster, it will be championship or bust. During his tenure with the team, Nash has not shown he is capable of coaching at that level.
