The Dallas Mavericks’ frontcourt is starting to look like a party that only you and all your ex’s were invited to: It’s starting to get a little too crowded. 

This summer, the Mavs added JaVale McGee and Christian Wood. Furthermore, they already have Dorrian Finney-Smith and Dwight Powell on the roster. Something is inevitably going to have to give here. 

Granted, Reddish is a front-court player, but he’s a wing. The other players listed occupy either the 4 or the 5, if not both. 

Yes, this is a risky proposition for the Mavericks. If Reddish maintains his current level of play, they just surrendered a quality rotation player and a protected first-round pick for nothing.
