Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz have been one of the most consistent teams in the NBA the last eight seasons under Quin Snyder. But, this offseason they underwent some big changes, as Snyder stepped down from his position as head coach. The roster saw upheaval as well.
Royce O’Neale was traded to the Brooklyn Nets for a 2023 first-round pick to kick things off. Rudy Gobert was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for five players and four first-round picks with one pick swap. Donovan Mitchell could be on the move next as the Utah Jazz have dove into a rebuild.
As a result, they could be in the running to acquire Russell Westbrook from the Lakers. As long as draft capital is included, the Utah Jazz will be interested in taking him on. If it is going to require two first-round picks to get the deal done, Los Angeles would have their pick of veterans.
Mike Conley Jr., Bojan Bogdanovic and Rudy Gay could be packaged together to head to Los Angeles. Nickeil Alexander-Walker could replace Gay as well and the salaries would still match.

Bogdanovic, Patrick Beverley and Malik Beasley are another potential package. However, that one would have to wait until August since Beverley and Beasley were traded once this offseason already.
Looking to add multiple rotation pieces if possible, the Utah Jazz could present the best opportunity for the Lakers to unload Westbrook. Again, however, they would likely have to be willing to include two first-round picks to get it done.
