Sacramento Kings Receive: F OG Anunoby, C Khem Birch
Toronto Raptors Receive: C Richaun Holmes, F Harrison Barnes, 2023 First-Round Pick Swap, 2023 Second-Round Pick (via IND), 2025 First-Round Pick Swap, 2026 First-Round Pick
This hypothetical deal is one in which both teams involved are dealing from a position of strength to improve an area of weakness on the roster.
The Toronto Raptors have a surplus of lengthy wing players but need some help on the interior. The Sacramento Kings have some options in the middle but are lacking on the wing.
With that thinking, a deal could be made between the teams. In this scenario, the Kings are taking another swing to try and snap their playoff drought. While OG Anunoby still has some room for development, his ceiling could quickly turn around the fortunes of the Kings.
Acquiring him gives them a strong lineup with two-way potential and fills their major need at the small forward position. Along with him, they are replacing some of the depth they are losing in the frontcourt with Khem Birch.
Part of the package heading north of the border is Richaun Holmes, who provides the Toronto Raptors with a starting center option that they lacked last season. Harrison Barnes fits the mold of the lengthy, two-way players that Nick Nurse has built a strong game plan for deploying to compensate for their lack of size.

The draft capital could be extremely valuable as well. Since the Kings do not have a first-round pick to trade until 2026, they compensate for that by having pick swaps in 2023 and 2025. A 2023 second-round pick from the Indiana Pacers could be very valuable as well.
How does this deal impact each team? Let’s take a look at it from both of their perspectives, starting with the Kings.
