Hayes is unlikely to rack up 3 Defensive Player of the Year awards, but he’s got potential as an athletic combo big with some face-up scoring skills.

Meanwhile, Kenyon Martin Jr. may have no use for the rebuilding Rockets. Rumors suggest that he’d prefer to land on another team. It feels like there’s a natural deal to be made between these two sides.

It’s very difficult to identify a viable trade for the Thunder. Even this one feels unlikely. This group is focused on hoarding draft capital over acquiring quality young players.
The Thunder probably won’t make another trade this summer. With that said, if they’re interested in taking a flyer on White, they’ll suddenly have an even more impressive platoon of oversized guards at their disposal. Meanwhile, the Bulls could surely use a defensive-minded, veteran big like Favors.

Jonathan Isaac’s career has been a roller coaster. With that said, it’s unfortunately featured a lot more downs than ups.
As a potentially elite defensive anchor, Isaac was supposed to be a cornerstone for this club. Injuries have kept that from being a possibility, and meanwhile, the Magic have rebuilt without him. Having landed Paolo Banchero in the 2022 draft, Isaac may be squeezed out. On the other hand, if the Knicks are interested in exploring his upside, this could be a buy-low opportunity.
