Portland Trail Blazers
The Portland Trail Blazers have already made one big move this offseason, acquiring Jerami Grant from the Detroit Pistons. That should be the first of plenty of other moves that the front office makes as they look to upgrade the roster around Damian Lillard.
This is a roster, as things currently stand, that only has three locks for the rotation in Lillard, Grant and Josh Hart. It is expected that Jusuf Nurkic and Anfernee Simons will re-sign, but until pen is put to paper, nothing is guaranteed.
A trade can still occur, as the Portland Trail Blazers do have some assets remaining. But, they will still have to be active in free agency to fill out the roster and Otto Porter Jr. is someone that they should set their sights on.
With cap space, they have an advantage over most teams in the league, as very few are projected to have any. They can probably offer Porter more money than his other suitors, as most contenders only have exceptions to offer.

Not only from a money standpoint but from a playing time standpoint, the Portland Trail Blazers also have a lot to offer. Porter can start in the frontcourt alongside Grant or come off the bench as their sixth man. There are plenty of minutes available either way as this roster is going to look drastically different.
Porter’s game is exactly what Portland should be targeting to put around Lillard. Versatile, two-way players that can get the job done on both ends of the court.
