There are several great players set to hit free agency in a few hours in the NBA. Some have put themselves in a great position to receive a raise from how much they were earning last season with their performance during the 2021-22 season.

One of those players set to receive a nice increase in earnings is Otto Porter Jr. Porter signed for the veteran’s minimum with the Golden State Warriors in free agency last year and things couldn’t have gone much better for him.

The veteran wing played in 63 games, which is more than he played in the previous two seasons combined. Those 63 games are the most he has played since he appeared in 77 games with the Washington Wizards during the 2017-18 season.

Porter provided a steady presence off the bench for Golden State, averaging 8.2 points to go along with 5.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 22.2 minutes per game. Despite seeing his minutes cut a bit in the postseason, he was just as impactful, knocking down 40.4 percent of his 3-point attempts and helping his team to an NBA Finals victory.
