Utah Jazz Receive: G Lonzo Ball, C Nikola Vucevic, F Patrick Williams
Chicago Bulls Receive: C Rudy Gobert
So far, neither Lonzo Ball nor Patrick Williams have quite lived up to the expectations they were saddled with as high lottery picks. That doesn’t mean either isn’t a productive NBA player: in fact, they both are.
At least, Williams is when he’s healthy. Realistically, injuries are all that have held him back so far. He’s spent ample time on the sidelines for the Bulls, but when available, he’s looked every bit the elite 3-and-D wing he was billed as before the draft.
Meanwhile, Ball doesn’t quite have the burst or wiggle to be the primary offensive creator people expected. Instead, he’s something closer to a 3-and-D himself, although his prodigious floor vision allows him to make plays in halfcourt sets.
The Bulls would also move on from Nikola Vucevic in this trade. The Utah Jazz would be hoping his skill-set on offense can form a better partnership with Donovan Mitchell.

The draft is a guessing game, and nobody got either of these guys quite right. Nonetheless, they both ought to have bright futures ahead of them in the National Basketball Association.
Bright enough for the Jazz to bite on this deal?
