1. Will Kings Trade No. 4 Pick?
There are a lot of people that feel the 2022 NBA Draft will truly get started when the Sacramento Kings come on the clock with the No. 4 overall pick.
A perfect storm is brewing as the Kings want to add an established player to their roster and they can make an impact addition using the No. 4 overall pick.
Several teams are interested in moving up in the draft that could negotiate with the Kings. The Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizards, New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks and Thunder have all reportedly shown interest in moving up.
All of those teams have assets that the Kings would benefit from acquiring. But, there are now some reports surfacing that Sacramento is warming up to the idea of using the selection on Iowa forward, Keegan Murray.

Ivey hasn’t worked out for the Kings and it sounds as if he is trying his best to not end up there. With De’Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell locked in at the guard spots, it makes sense Ivey would like to go elsewhere. Murray would find plenty of opportunities right off the bat should they keep the pick and use it on him.
Desperate to snap a 16-year playoff drought, the Kings are open to anything that will help them improve their roster. If they feel keeping the pick and adding another youngster to the mix will accomplish that, they will select a player. If a deal materializes that is too good to pass up, they will make a trade.
