One of the most sought-after players on the NBA trade block during the regular season was Indiana Pacers center, Myles Turner.
Turner is someone that the Pacers have gone back and forth for years about trading and they looked like they were finally ready to pull the trigger ahead of the deadline.
However, the plans were altered when Turner injured his foot. Unsure of when he would come back, the market for him dissipated as teams were not willing to take the risk. That ended up being the correct call, as Turner missed the remainder of the season.
It was originally reported that Indiana wanted to hold onto him through the offseason and see what he looked like playing alongside Tyrese Haliburton, but that wasn’t deterring teams from making calls. But, with the 2022 NBA Draft less than a week away, rumors are once again heating up centered around Turner.

There’s been reporting about how Turner may favor entering the 2022-23 season without getting a contract extension done — making it more challenging for the Pacers to not trade him.
