It doesn’t take a basketball genius to figure out why the Heat would do this trade. They’re landing Kevin Durant.

If you haven’t heard, he’s pretty good. In fact, he’d team up with Jimmy Butler to give the Heat arguably the best duo in the entire National Basketball Association.

They’d have to continue making moves. Losing both Adebayo and Herro would be a major blow to this team’s infrastructure. If this deal happened, they’d need a defensive big and a reserve scorer posthaste.

It would be well worth it. The NBA is a star’s league, and Durant shines brighter than almost anyone. He may be aging, but he’s still capable of performing like one of the five or so best basketball players on the planet.
