Danuel House Jr.
Danuel House Jr. offers the Chicago Bulls another ideal role player that would instantly be one of the best defenders on the roster. House was one of the Houston Rockets’ most important support pieces during the James Harden era.
When Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, and eventually, James Harden all made their exit from H-Town, House was left stranded on a suddenly rebuilding team.
The new-age Rockets had no use for a late-20s 3-and-D wing, so House saw his minutes and reps decrease steadily before he was eventually moved to the New York Knicks and ultimately rerouted to the Utah Jazz.
He recaptured some of his worth in Salt Lake City but wasn’t able to carve out a significant role in the rotation and likely won’t be re-signing onto a team that’s due for an implosion sooner than later. Now, he’ll be searching for a new home, preferably one that’s ready to compete in the immediate future.

The Chicago Bulls could certainly use a player like House; one who can aptly guard multiple positions along the perimeter and is willing to play a complementary role on offense off of DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine. House’s skillset and price tag should be right in Chicago’s wheelhouse this offseason.
