Atlanta Hawks Receive: Tim Hardaway Jr., 2025 First-Round Pick (Swap – DAL), 2027 First-Round Pick (DAL)
Portland Trail Blazers Receive: F John Collins, G Spencer Dinwiddie, 2024 First-Round Pick (DAL), 2025 First-Round Pick (Swap – DAL), 2026 First-Round Pick (DAL)
Dallas Mavericks Receive: G Damian Lillard
If the Portland Trail Blazers hope to receive a young player of John Collins’ caliber in a Damian Lillard trade, they’ll have to split up the draft capital a little more evenly.
After all, Collins doesn’t have the same injury or character concerns that Isaac does. Granted, his name has been in trade rumors for years, but that feels more due to the organization than the player.
This deal has the Atlanta Hawks finally getting off of him. They’re receiving a veteran they may find useful, a first-round pick, and a swap in exchange for the athletic forward.
While this organization is known to be targeting a co-star for Young, this deal clears cap space if they’re able to land one in free agency. Meanwhile, they still have plenty of trade chips (including this draft capital) to swing a trade.

Saying goodbye wouldn’t be easy for either Damian Lillard or the Portland Trail Blazers. They’ve been together for nine years now. At the same time, they may want to consider the limited success they’ve had over that time.
Some would argue that’s reason enough to part ways.
