Washington Wizards Receive: F Marcus Morris, G Luke Kennard, C Isaiah Hartenstein (Sign & Trade), F Terance Mann, G Brandon Boston Jr., 2028 First-Round Pick (LAC)
LA Clippers Receive: G Bradley Beal

If these teams were to make a straight-up swap, it would almost have to look exactly like this.

Never mind Marcus Morris. He’s here to make the money work. Otherwise, the Wizards are receiving a number of quality players in the 25-and-under club along with a first-round pick in exchange for Beal.

Whether they deemed this an acceptable return would depend on their estimate of each of the young players they’re receiving here.

They’re all solid. Kennard has probably topped out as a high-end floor spacer, but otherwise, any one of these guys has a remote chance of making an All-Star team someday.

On the flip side, the chance is remote. Meanwhile, the Wizards are only receiving a single first-round pick in exchange for Beal here. If they decide that this is more of a poo-poo platter than an actual collection of assets, they’ll decline this deal.

In that event, these two sides may need to find a third team to help make a trade.
