Philadelphia 76ers Receive: F/C John Collins
Atlanta Hawks Receive: F Tobias Harris, G/F Matisse Thybulle
Neither the Atlanta Hawks nor the Philadelphia 76ers should be thrilled with their respective postseason exits. The Hawks followed up a surprising Eastern Conference Finals appearance in 2021 with a Play-In Tournament berth that eventually led to a quick, five-game “molly whopping” from Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.
Butler and co. also showed the Philadelphia 76ers the door, albeit in six, more tightly contested games in the second round.
Although the Sixers were technically just two games away from making the Eastern Conference Finals, the season still ended up a disappointment considering the fact that Joel Embiid strung together an MVP-level campaign and General Manager Daryl Morey went all in to trade for All-NBA guard James Harden.
With how each team ended their playoff runs, there’s no doubt that their respective front offices will be looking for ways to significantly improve their rosters before the start of next season.

Both Morey and Hawks GM Travis Schlenke will have to get rather inventive this offseason and could even work together for a deal that could shake up the NBA landscape.
