Perhaps most important of all for the Clippers is the possibility of adding a durable star. They have often been without Leonard or George in the lineup in recent seasons and could benefit from having Westbrook when one or both of their wings are sidelined.
After the 2022-23 season, the Clippers would clear a massive amount of salary cap spending obligations and could look to recruit a better-fitting superstar if Westbrook isn’t a fit.
