Making the Case: Miami Heat
There are a few main routes the Miami Heat could go with their roster construction plan this offseason. They can trust the foundation they’ve established and believe that a healthier Kyle Lowry would have made all the difference in the Eastern Conference Finals.
It’s not a bad option. Keep in mind, that doing so would mean they are banking on the internal development of Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo while believing in the supporting cast that’s already around Jimmy Butler.
However, the Heat could instead become motivated to go star chasing in the offseason by looking for potential blockbuster trades to pull off. Such an option would require them to potentially reconsider involving Robinson in a trade clearing salary.
There are a lot of factors that would need to go the Heat’s way before a potential pursuit of a star could come to fruition. For starters, there’d need to be a trade request made from this hypothetical star and the Heat would need to be on his wish list for trade destinations.

It’s not difficult to envision the Heat being an attractive landing spot. They play in Miami and just made the Eastern Conference Finals. It’s just not guaranteed a player of that caliber is going to seek such a change of scenery this offseason.
