Myles Turner
The Milwaukee Bucks have enjoyed a tremendous run of success with Brook Lopez in the middle. At the same time, it may be time to start searching for his successor.
After all, Lopez is 34. After extending his NBA career by developing into a viable three-point shooter, he hit on a ghastly 21.4% of his three-point attempts in the 2021-22 playoffs. Finding a younger big who can space the floor while defending the rim would be a blessing for this club.
Enter Myles Turner. He’s the owner of a 34.9% career three-point percentage. He’s also one of the most feared rim protectors in the NBA. He could slide into Lopez’s role without the Bucks skipping a beat.
He may also be on the trade market this summer. His Pacers are rebuilding. They roster the much younger Isaiah Jackson and figure to retain Restricted Free Agent Jalen Smith this summer.
