Best Landing Spot: Los Angeles Lakers

Surely, some eyes have already rolled after reading that header. Hear us out.

If Gordon Hayward lands on the Los Angeles Lakers, we can assume that Russell Westbrook has departed. Chances are, the Hornets shipped Hayward along with Terry Rozier to Los Angeles in exchange for Westbrook and a first-round pick.

In other words, Hayward would be joining an entirely different Lakers team. In all likelihood, it would be a better one.

A core of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Hayward, and Rozier should contend for the championship. Granted, everything hinges on Davis’ health.
